The products in this category include user-adjustable (as opposed to fixed-value) resistors, and accessories such as mounting hardware and turn-counting dials designed for use therewith. The various product groups within are differentiated according to their basic physical form and intended application; slide potentiometers for example are adjusted using a linear motion, whereas rotary potentiometers are adjusted using a turning motion.
