Stand-alone programmers are devices used program instructions into programmable semiconductor components that are not installed in a circuit. These programmers are primarily for programming oscillators. The types of programmers include: data acquisition arrangement (DAA), field oscillator, FLASH, pc-based, and full programming kits. There are various types of kits that come stocked with tools, cables, etc.
