BM70
The BM70 is a high-performance, low-power Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transceiver module designed by Microchip Technology for wireless connectivity in compact and battery-powered applications. It integrates a fully compliant BLE 5.3 radio, baseband controller, and embedded microcontroller, enabling seamless communication over the 2.4 GHz ISM band with robust security features including AES-128 encryption and secure boot.
This module supports data rates up to 2 Mbps, extended range through Long Range (LR) mode, and adaptive frequency hopping to minimize interference in crowded RF environments. Its ultra-low power consumption—down to 1.5 µA in sleep mode—makes it ideal for devices requiring long battery life, such as wearables, medical sensors, and IoT endpoints. The BM70 also includes an on-chip antenna, reducing external component count and simplifying PCB design while maintaining excellent RF performance.
