ISL28218

The ISL28218 is a high-performance, low-power quad-channel analog multiplexer from Renesas Electronics Corporation, designed for precision signal routing in demanding applications. It features four independent single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switches that enable flexible and accurate selection of input signals to a shared output path. Each channel supports a wide supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for both low-voltage battery-powered systems and standard 3.3 V or 5 V logic environments. This device offers exceptional channel-to-channel matching, with a maximum on-resistance variation of 10 mΩ across all channels, ensuring minimal signal distortion and consistent performance. The typical on-resistance is just 120 mΩ at 3.3 V, which minimizes power loss and improves system efficiency. Its low leakage current—less than 1 nA at room temperature—ensures high accuracy in sensitive measurement applications such as sensor interfaces and data acquisition systems.
