BlueNRG-M2

The BlueNRG-M2 is a low-power, highly integrated System-on-Chip (SoC) designed by STMicroelectronics for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) applications. It features an ARM Cortex-M0 32-bit RISC processor running at up to 48 MHz, providing efficient processing capabilities while maintaining ultra-low power consumption. The SoC includes 512 KB of Flash memory and 96 KB of SRAM, enabling robust storage and real-time data handling for complex BLE protocols and application logic. Integrated into the BlueNRG-M2 is a fully compliant BLE 5.0 radio transceiver that supports multiple PHY modes including LE 1M, LE 2M, and LE Coded, ensuring extended range and higher data rates. It also offers advanced features such as adaptive frequency hopping, enhanced security with AES-128 hardware encryption, and support for secure boot and firmware update mechanisms. These features make it ideal for applications requiring reliable wireless communication and strong data protection. The device is equipped with a rich set of peripherals, including analog-to-digital converters (ADC), timers, UART, SPI, I2C, and GPIOs, allowing flexible interfacing with various sensors, actuators, and external components.
