ISO6720-Q1

The ISO6720-Q1 is a high-reliability isolated gate driver from Texas Instruments designed for industrial and automotive applications. It features a 5.7 kV RMS isolation barrier, ensuring safe and reliable signal transmission across electrically isolated domains. The device supports both high-side and low-side switching configurations, making it suitable for use in half-bridge and full-bridge topologies commonly found in motor drives, power supplies, and inverters. This isolated gate driver includes integrated bootstrap circuitry for driving high-side MOSFETs or IGBTs, eliminating the need for external components in many applications. It supports supply voltages from 3.3 V to 15 V on the low-side side and up to 15 V on the high-side side, offering flexibility in system design. Additionally, the internal charge pump eliminates the need for an external auxiliary power supply, simplifying the overall design and lowering BOM cost.
