TPA6304-Q1
The TPA6304-Q1 is a high-efficiency, 4-channel, automotive-grade H-bridge driver designed for demanding applications such as power seat motors, window lift systems, and other body control modules in vehicles. It delivers robust performance with a wide supply voltage range of 5.5 V to 28 V, making it suitable for both 12 V and 24 V automotive electrical systems. Each channel features integrated N-channel MOSFETs with low on-resistance (RDS(on)), enabling efficient power delivery and reduced heat generation under heavy load conditions.
This device supports bidirectional motor control through PWM input signals, allowing precise speed and direction regulation. It includes built-in protection mechanisms such as over-current protection (OCP), over-temperature shutdown (OTSD), and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) to ensure reliable operation even in harsh automotive environments. The integrated current sense circuitry provides accurate current monitoring, which enhances system safety by detecting faults like stall conditions or short circuits.
Designed for compliance with AEC-Q100 Grade 1 standards, the TPA6304-Q1 meets stringent automotive reliability requirements, including extended temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C. Its compact 24-pin PowerPAD™ package improves thermal dissipation, ensuring stable performance during prolonged operation. Additionally, the chip offers flexible configuration options via an SPI interface, enabling advanced diagnostics and real-time status monitoring for enhanced system integration.
Applications include electric power steering (EPS), HVAC blower control, active suspension systems, and various other vehicle subsystems where precise motor control and fault tolerance are critical. The TPA6304-Q1’s robust architecture ensures long-term durability and minimal maintenance, making it ideal for OEMs seeking a scalable and dependable solution for modern automotive electronics.
