The TPL5110 is a low-power, externally triggered timer IC designed for battery-powered applications requiring precise control of power-on and power-off cycles. It operates from a supply voltage range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for use in systems powered by single-cell batteries or multiple coin-cell configurations. The device features an ultra-low quiescent current of less than 1 μA in shutdown mode, which significantly extends battery life in intermittent operation scenarios. This timer integrates a programmable delay circuit that allows users to set the duration of the active period using external resistors and capacitors.
