Abrasives and Surface Conditioning Products

Abrasives and surface conditioning products are used to clean, deburr, grind, lap, buff, cut or polish surfaces to a desired finish to provide clarity, smoothness or as preparation for paint, soldering or buffing. Surface conditioning may be used to prepare the cut end of a fiber optic cable before installation. General classifications of abrasives include coarse, extra coarse, fine, medium, super fine, and ultra fine and are available in rolls, sheets, belts, discs, wheels, cloth, brushes, and films.
