Knobs are accessory attachments that provide visual and tactile features for HMI (Human-Machine Interface) controls or mechanical advantage and grip for adjustable fasteners. Knobs used for HMI interfaces such as rotary switches or potentiometers may be color coded, numbered, or include indicators such as arrows, dots, lines, and notches. They are selected by style, type, shaft size, diameter, material, and specific features.
