Pliers are a universal hand tool used to firmly hold onto objects. They are available in many different tip or nose styles such as: rounded, needle, flat, long, diagonal, shot, bent, snipe or chain nose, etc. The jaws can be smooth or serrated with straight or angled tips. There are many different jaw lengths to select from as well as additional features such as a crushing slot, for example.
