AT89LP51ED2-20PU Description

The AT89LP51ED2-20PU is a low-power, high-performance CMOS 8-bit microcontroller unit (MCU) manufactured by Microchip Technology. It is based on the enhanced 8051 microarchitecture and is designed for a wide range of embedded control applications.

Description:

The AT89LP51ED2-20PU is a 28-pin package MCU with 8 kB of in-system programmable flash memory, 256 bytes of RAM, and 512 bytes of EEPROM. It operates with a single 2.7V to 6V power supply and features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The device is available in a PDIP (Plastic Dual In-Line Package) package.

Features:

  1. Enhanced 8051 CPU core with 128-byte on-chip RAM and 64-byte on-chip register file.
  2. 8 kB in-system programmable flash memory with read-while-write capability.
  3. 256 bytes of on-chip SRAM and 512 bytes of EEPROM for data storage.
  4. 19 general-purpose I/O pins with 5V tolerant inputs.
  5. Two 16-bit timer/counters with watchdog timer and two 8-bit timer/counters.
  6. One full-duplex serial communication channel (UART).
  7. One SPI serial port and one I2C serial port.
  8. Low-power consumption with idle, power-down, and power-save modes.
  9. Programmable clock frequency divider and internal RC oscillator.
  10. On-chip debug features with background debug mode and debug interface.
